The Journey Map is a powerful visualization tool designed to outline the key moments and stages your customers go through to achieve their goals.
By mapping out the journey, you gain deep insights into their experiences, emotions, and pain points, helping you pinpoint where you excel and where you may fall short. This tool also enables you to identify areas where strategic partnerships can elevate the customer experience, turning weak links into competitive strengths.
How to use this tool
Customer / Product / Scenario - Kickoff the effort by detailing the customer persona, the product, and the scenario that will be the focal point of this journey map.
Identify key moments of the scenario - Define the Goal, Actions, Pain Points and Customer Emotions for each of the key moments in the scenario.
Identify Potential Partners - This step is optional, but when identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the customer journey, you can take the opportunity to identify companies that might be better at weaker parts of the process if you are interested in engaging a partner.
Identify actionable insights - Using the template to visualize and interpret the data. Look for trends, outliers, and areas requiring immediate attention. Identify the set of 3-5 insights to take to the next step.
Prioritize the next steps - Together with your team, take the top 3-5 actionable insights and plot them in the Flywheel Decision Matrix.
